Bostik recruits Flooring expert Robert A. Williams to serve as National Sales Manager – Consumer Products Group
Middleton, Mass. (November 29, 2010) — Bostik’s Consumer & Construction Division has named Robert A. Williams, a 28-year flooring industry expert, National Sales Manager – Consumer Products Group. Williams and Scott Banda, Business Manager of Bostik’s Consumer Products Group, are charged with sourcing innovations from Bostik’s global product portfolio, as well as launching solutions, and bringing them to the consumer channel. Initially, the duo is focusing on flooring — hardwood, ceramic, carpet/vinyl/patch, and green building solutions.
Williams’ career includes serving as a plant manager for Latricrete International. In the early-90s, Williams became a sales representative for Daltile International and then for Preferred Sales & Marketing. Williams returned to Laticrete as director of national accounts 2001-2010. Williams holds an Associates of Arts degree in Business from Western International University in Phoenix. He anticipates graduating this spring from Post University in Waterbury, Conn., with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing.
