Bostik Promotes Robert McNamara to Director of Sales & Marketing

Bostik Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Robert McNamara to Director of Sales & Marketing for the company’s Construction & Distribution (C&D) Division.
Formerly National Sales & Marketing Manager for the Bostik Flooring Group, McNamara now oversees sales and marketing functions and personnel for the entire Bostik C&D Division.
A 19-year Bostik veteran, McNamara reports directly to Richard D’Autilio, General Manager of Bostik’s C&D Division. McNamara is charged with managing and growing the Division’s market-leading C&D product line-up, including:

- Bostik Home® residential construction sealants and adhesives;
- Chem-Calk® commercial construction sealants and adhesives;
- Bostik® and DURABOND® hardwood adhesives and installation solutions;
- Hydroment® and DURABOND® ceramic installation systems;
- DURABOND carpet, vinyl and cement patch products; and
- Bostik resilient flooring adhesives.

McNamara holds a bachelor of science in accounting from The Ohio State University. He joined Bostik in 1989 as Midwest Territory Sales Manager. In 1991, he helped open Bostik Flooring Group’s first Canadian distributorship. In 1994, as Bostik Hardwood Product Manager, McNamara played a pivotal role in the development and national roll-out of this leading line of hardwood flooring installation and aftercare solutions, including the opening of a number of private-label accounts. In 1999, he took on the responsibilities of National Accounts Manager and Ceramic Product Manager. McNamara advanced to Marketing Manager of the Bostik Flooring Group in 2000, and one year later helped direct integration of the DURABOND line of ceramic, carpet and vinyl flooring installation products (acquired in 2001). McNamara was appointed National Sales & Marketing Manager of the Bostik Flooring Group in 2003.
